Series E2C.15 ESD - chain, non-openable

E2 micro ESD e-chains® are very small, one-piece and two-piece e-chains® with a low weight and are therefore ideal for highly dynamic applications. E2 ESD micro e-chains® are strong and available in many different versions. igus® also supplies a wide range of accessories and means of attachment.

Series E2C.15 ESD is suited for the following types of applications:

Horizontal: Unsupported applications

When to use Series E2C.15 ESD

When a small e-chain® with 15 mm inner height and small pitch is required
For inner widths up to 30 mm
When a large range of modular components is required
When long unsupported lengths high fill weights and a small e-chain® are required
Silent operation due to small pitch

When not to use Series E2C.15 ESD

When an enclosed e-tube is required
Series R09 Zipper e-tube
For filling without opening cross bars
Series E08 easy chain®

Unsupported length

Reference example A:
Fill weight = 0,75 [kg/m]
Unsupported length FLB = 0,78 m
Travel = 1,55 m

The diagrams for unsupported lengths apply to standard e-chains® in igumid GLW material. The values can also be used for assessing e-chain® applications in ESD special material. If the respective maximum unsupported length exceeds 80%, the suitability of the e-chain® should be verified by a practice-oriented test.

Option 1 - Separators and full-width shelves
can be placed anywhere in the chain's cross-section to divide the interior of the e-chain® - As standard, separators are fitted at every 2nd chain link!

Note: for E2C.15 Assemble the interior separation before fitting the e-chain®!

For easy vertical division in energy chains. Slot in the separator enables vertical/horizontal separation. No snap-in option, moves freely.
