Series E4-32 ESD chain, openable along both sides

The ESD E4-1 system combines all the advantages of its three predecessors and is the best system in the igus® range of e-chains®. Series E4.1 is stronger whilst having the same or even smaller dimensions than the previous versions. Almost all accessories and mounting dimensions are identical. With the the igus® E4.1 system, the service life of your application can be increased even more with lower costs.

When an extremely low vibration e-chain® is required.

FLB = Unsupported with permissible sag
FLG = Unsupported with straight upper run

The diagrams for unsupported lengths apply to standard e-chains® in igumid GLW material. The values can also be used for assessing e-chain® applications in ESD special material. If the respective maximum unsupported length exceeds 80%, the suitability of the e-chain® should be verified by a practice-oriented test.

"Super-aluminium" trough - the igus® standard for guide troughs

The "Super" aluminium trough is a modular system of guide troughs for long travels (where e-chains® are gliding on top of themselves). The basic "Super" aluminium trough has a simple and cost-efficient designs and can be expanded for sophisticated plant engineering. Its universal design makes it the recommended igus® standard for guide troughs.

Guide troughs are used for applications, for which the upper run of the e-chain® glides on the lower run. The following components are required when using the steel igus® guide trough. Guide trough without glide bar Part No. 97.30, guide trough with glide bar Part No. 97.31 Installation set Part No. 97.50. XX
.XX indicates the length of the C-profile on which the guide trough will be mounted. The standard length of the trough parts and glide rails is 2 m. The required length of guide trough is determined by the travel length.
